No, I am not pregnant!  But… we may be adding a new addition to our family in the near future.  A French Bulldog!

How precious is that!!!  I have been wanting a puppy for quite some time, and Carlos and I have finally decided that a French Bulldog would be the perfect fit for us!

First, my mind was set on a Pug.  I then learned that they shed a ridiculous amount and they also tend to have a lot of health problems.  I think they are the most adorable things, but probably not best for me.

Next, it was a Boston Terrier.  They are soooo cute!  They are really smart and active and are such a cute small dog.  They are also healthy and don’t shed very much!  But…. I learned that they are more likely to be crazy!  An incredibly hyper dog would drive Carlos insane, and we wouldn’t want that now would we?! 

So… one day we were at the mall and went to one of those puppy stores.  I saw a Boston Terrier and ran over to it.  In there with it was a dog I had never seen before… the French Bulldog.  I had honestly never even heard of one before.  They let me take it out and hold it and play with it and it was just the most adorable little thing ever!  Here’s a video on YouTube that I found of a precious little Frenchie…

Who wouldn’t want something as cute as that!  Anywho, I found a French Bulldog Rescue, and I’m looking to get one from there.  www.frenchbulldogrescue.org  If you are a dog lover or love French Bulldogs, you should definitely check it out.  You don’t necessarily have to adopt a dog, but there are a ton of other ways to help.

I filled out an application for one, so hopefully they think I will make a good home for a little French Bulldog!  Wish me luck!
