Ooohh pretty!
So, just like my earbuds I like my iPhone to stand out from the crowd as well. Check it out.

Real? I’m gonna go with… no. But hey, it’s so cute who cares?!
My Dream Come True

Yep. I finally got my Macbook. It’s beautiful and I am in love with it. The very first thing I noticed is how soft and smooth the keys are. Weird I know, but you really can’t help but notice! It was a joy from the moment I turned it on. I flew through space while being told “welcome” in several different languages. After I made it to my desktop I went through the step by step setup. I signed up for the 60 day free trial of MobileMe. Does anyone out there use this? Is it worth it? Let me know.

So today was definitely a big day for me. After months and months of failed eBay and craigslist attempts, someone finally decided that my HP laptop was the right computer for them. Thank God! It’s about time. So anyways, my dream has finally come true and I am a proud owner of a brand new Macbook!
I did it

Yep. Brown hair it is! I love it!
Something New
So I have been contemplating for a while now whether to keep my hair blonde or try something new and dye it brown. Thankfully there is this really cool site called taaz that allows you try a new look before you actually do it.

What do you think?
It’s really cool because not only do you get to try new hairstyles, you can also change your makeup. And I’m not just talking about basics either, you can add fake eyelashes, reshape your eyebrows, and even put on concealer. Check it out! www.taaz.com
eBay = frustration
As many of you know, I have been on a Macbook quest for a LONG time. I’m so sick of Windows and HP and everything related to it. Off topic- I saw a preview of Windows 6. Is is just me or does it look almost exactly the same as Vista?! Where is the MAJOR improvement? LAME!
Anywho… I sold my computer on eBay for the 4th time today. How is this possible you may ask? I have put my laptop on there a few times and it has sold everytime. The first time I never received payment and was never able to contact the winner. The second time I got an email from eBay saying the person who bought my computer was actually a scammer blah blah blah. The third time was just like the first, never received payment and never was able to contact the buyer. The one good thing about this was ebay refunded me for my posting everytime, so at least it was free for me to repost all these times. Well… I finally sold my computer again today. The buyer only has 10 feedbacks, but at least they were all positive and recent, so maybe there is some hope for me.
A similar thing happened to my fiance. His computer sold yesterday and the winner contacted him after they had already won saying that it looked like the screen was broken. It doesn’t look broken at all, because it isn’t. Anywho, they then began to go on and on about all these concerns they suddenly had. He wrote them back and said “If you had so many concerns you shouldn’t have been several times to try to win”. Idiots.
Don’t get me wrong, I have had many many many good experiences with eBay. Maybe it’s just with laptops/computers that things get like this?! I don’t know. Anyways, everyone out there keep your fingers crossed for me that this transaction actually goes through so I can FINALLY go get my Macbook!!!
Prayer
Dear God,
Please let me look as hot as Britney Spears when I am huge.

Thanks.

The Wrath of The iPhone
It’s so funny how things work out.
When I first got my iPhone I was seriously obsessed with it. I don’t think it left my hands for the first 3 weeks. I was totally addicted. The iPhone is kind of like the internet, it seems to have endless possibilities and you always find something new.
I thought it would be nice for me to share this beloved gadget with Carlos (finace). I wanted him to be able to enjoy this thing I had spent so many hours with myself. So for Christmas, I bought him an iPhone. Little did I know the effects it would have on him. He too became obsessed.
All day long it seemed he was on his new toy. Exploring new apps, downloading songs and videos, changing different settings, etc. I thought it was so hilarious. I have been holding it over his head now for the past week or two that he is a total hypocrite. Our nites are now spent playing on our iPhones together, taking care of eachother’s ipets and playing Tetris and The Price is Right. I think this Christmas was probably the best gift I have ever given!
MIA AGAIN!
Sorry once again for being missing for like 2 weeks! The holiday season this year was very busy for me and I was constantly on the go. I even traveled to California for 5 days and didn’t bring my computer! The crazy thing is I actually didn’t miss it because I didn’t even have an opportunity to be on it. Christmas this year was really fun, even though Carlos and I didn’t get to spend it together! (he stayed in AZ i was in CA) It was nice to be home again and be in California even though it was freezing and raining.
After Christmas we celebrated my sister’s bachlorette party which was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience that I will not soon forget. (hot tranny waitresses anyone?)

I flew home Sunday nite and after 5 days of non-stop on the go, it was really really REALLY nice to be back home in Arizona. I spent the next couple days trying to catch up on missed sleep, but was unsuccessful at that.
Before I knew it the New Year was here! We spent a fun evening with close friends playing games and drinking until our bodies couldn’t take anymore (not me of course!). It was a blast and definitely another night I won’t be forgetting.
So now here I am on January 2nd. I’m sitting at work ready to pass out in my chair. I have never felt so exhausted or excited for the weekend. My plans are to pass out when I get home and wake up again on Sunday afternoon. Seriously.
My ultrasound on Christmas Eve was amazing! We saw the baby, and it actually looked like a baby, not a little blob. It was moving around and going crazy, it’s so weird that I can’t feel all that movement! We weren’t able to find out the gender at that time, but I’m hoping at my next appointment (January 21st) they will schedule an ultrasound so I can find out if I’m having a boy or a girl!
So there is the update on my life. I apologize for not keeping up with my blog the last week or two. I’m hoping to produce a blog post with something useful in it within the next day or two, I just have to regain my energy!!!
To 3G or not to 3G, that is the question.
The more and more I hear about friends finally upgrading their phones to the 3G iPhone, the more it makes me think. Should I, or should I not? Lets look at the positives shall we?
1. It definitely has a much cooler/better/improved look.
2. It’s much lighter.
3. …
That’s really all there is. Of course there is the fact that it runs on America’s fastest 3G network, but I have t-mobile, so my unlocked iPhone won’t be using that network anyways. After doing some extensive research on the unlocking of the 3G, I discovered something alarming. Apparently when you upgrade your 3G iPhone to 2.2 firmware, it also upgrades your baseboard and locks your phone. Apple did this on purpose. They don’t want people unlocking their phones anymore. I think this is stupid, think of the millions of customers more they could have if the iPhone could be used on any network?! Everyone would get one. Now, I don’t know of course how much AT&T is paying Apple for that exclusive contract, so maybe it’s worth it to them. I don’t know.
So back to the point, is it worth it? Should I upgrade and get a 3G or stick with my precious little 1st gen iPhone?
